Relative age is like saying they are pretty old or very young, not exactly staying age. Absolute is giving their exact age like he is 25 years old

Comparison of relative age and absolute age:

Relative age:

  • Relative age here is defined as the comparison of various age group; it can define a certain age name but not by counting age.
  • If a group of people with age of 17-18 are present, then we can say they are teenagers. These patterns will describe about the relative age.

Absolute age:

  • Absolute age is known as the age which is described as in exact age.
  • Here, if a person’s age is stated to be 20, then it can be defined as absolute age.
