HELP ASAP!!!!!!!!!!!

Prompt: Imagine that a you and a friend are exercising together at a gym. Your friend suddenly trips and falls, and it is clear that he or she has suffered an ankle sprain. Luckily you know exactly what has happened. Explain how your friend sustained the injury and, assuming you had the necessary supplies, including a first aid kit and a phone, explain what steps could you take to stabilize your friend's injury.

Respuesta :

First I would get her an ice pack to help with the swelling then I would amobilize it so she couldn’t move it and hurt herself anymore. Now I would take her to the hospital or call an ambulance. Hope that helps and ask questions if you still need help. ;)

Ankle sprain is nothing more than a traumatic excessive inversion of the foot, that is, when the foot for some reason turns sharply, causing a stretch or partial / total rupture of ligaments in the ankle. This is what happened to the person shown in the question above.

Let's say a friend of mine suffered a sprain and I have a first aid kit. First I would ask my friend to raise his leg for a moment to lessen the swelling in the region, then apply a cold thermal bag, or apply ice. After that it would help my friend to lift without putting weight on his injured ankle, I would also look for a way to immobilize the injured part. Then I would call the emergency if the sprain had been severe so that the professionals would take care of it.
