This is true.
Cooking food with high heats destroys most harmful bacteria. Improperly cooking meats can give you salmonella, a bacterium that can be found in many foods, especially raw and undercooked meat, poultry, dairy, and seafoods. E. coli can also be extracted from undercooked foods as well. Raw vegetables, sprouts, and fruit that have been grown or washed in dirty water can also be contaminated with E. coli.
Have a great day!
