They have to be careful to ensure as much accuracy as possible.

Forensic scientists are very careful in producing sensitive, reproducible, and specific results so as not convict or discharge suspects wrongly.
Forensic science is a branch of the subject that deals with the analysis of evidences from crime scenes in order to establish culpability or otherwise of a suspect or track a criminal.
If forensic analysis are not sensitive, reproducible, and specific, an innocent person might end up being convicted for an offense they know nothing about and a guilty person may end up going scot-free.
Thus, forensic scientists must be/are very detailed and accurate in their approach in analyzing crime scene evidence.
