The EOP has responsibility for tasks ranging from communicating the President's message to the American people to promoting our trade interests abroad. Overseen by the White House Chief of Staff, the EOP has traditionally been home to many of the President's closest advisors. The Office of Administration is supposed to assist and support the other units of the EOP.
The main responsibility of the Office of Administration is to provide administrative services such as, financial management and information technology support, human resources management, security, and messenger operations, to all entities of the EOP, including direct support services to the President. Thus, the EOP, is responsible for tasks ranging from the President's message communication to the American people promoting business interests abroad.
