What is the surface area?

We have:
two congruent triangles wit base b = 6ft and height h = 4ft
two rectangle with length l = 10ft and width w = 5ft
one rectangle with lenght l = 10ft and width w = 6f
The formula of an area of a triangle:
[tex]A_T=\dfrac{1}{2}bh[/tex]
Substitute:
[tex]A_T=\dfrac{1}{2}(6)(4)=(3)(4)=12\ ft^2[/tex]
The formula of a rectangle:
[tex]A_R=lw[/tex]
Substitute:
[tex]A_{R_1}=(10)(5)=50\ ft^2\\\\A_{R_2}=(10)(6)=60\ ft^2[/tex]
The Surface Area:
[tex]SA=2A_{T}+2A_{R_1}+A_{R_2}[/tex]
Substitute:
[tex]SA=2(12)+2(50)+60=24+100+60=184\ ft^2[/tex]
