How did fear affect politics in the United States during and after the Cold War? What were people afraid of, how did the government react, and were the politics of fear more significant in the late 1900s or early 2000s?

Respuesta :

Fear acted in many different ways during and after the cold war. During the cold war, many people feared that the Soviets were going to launch rockets toward the U.S. So, in spite of this, both countries ended up doing nuclear warhead testings throughout the cold war. Politics also played a major role in the cold war. Many pieces of propaganda were made to make fun of or ridicule the soviets and viseversa.

Hope this helps!! Have a good day c;
