PLEASE HELP

Night by Elie Wiesel

Describe Wiesels attitude toward his father throughout the book. How does his relationship affect his ability to survive? How does his father's death affect him?

Respuesta :

Ironically, Elie's relationship with his father improves upon entering the concentration camp. While commitments in his and his father's everyday life made Elie's relationship with his father before the Holocaust strained and distant, Elie and his father commit to living for one another when they enter the camp. His father gave him a knife and spoon for protection and to eat so that way Elie could survive.
