A central nervous system is a common characteristic among vertebrates, including fish. It receives information, integrates them, coordinate the activity of the body. In fish, the central nervous system consists of the brain, medulla oblongata, and spinal cord. 

Jellyfish has a nerve net that surrounds its whole body. The nerve net consists of interconnected nerve cells. Lobster has a nervous system made up of ganglia. Starfish has no brain. Its nervous system consists of a nerve ring around a mouth and radial nerves that run out of the ring.
