As its name says, the historical texts contain mainly important historical information about a certain event or place that is important or contributed with something to humanity.

A writer of historical documents should use only one organizational structure, otherwise, the main message of the text would not be understood. The text structure refers to how the information within a written text is organized. The most important organizational structures are: the description, cause and consequence, compare and contrast, but the most used for historians is the chronological structure.
