The specific defenses in our body are a part of the adaptive immune system which is acquired after birth and develops due to the exposure to a particular foreign particle. These defenses include T cells and B cells and since, antibodies are generated by B cells, they are also a part of this system.
The nonspecific defenses are a part of the innate immune system which is present inherently and recognize broad patterns of the foreign agents and are not specific in nature.
These include various chemicals and solid structures present in our bodies such as skin, mucous along with cells of the innate immune system such as macrophages and the fever produced in response to the pathogens.
