Start with a claim. Something that will catch the readers eye and follow up with a short body paragraph and a nice conclusion

Start with a hook, what catches the reader/audience's attention.

Then move on to the claim.

Then, last but not least you want to state your thesis statement.

Last, you want to check all of your spelling, make sure that there are no I,me,We,Us,You,Your, Etc.

Like this paragraph but if you use other websites make sure you (STATE YOUR SOURCES).

What is STEM Education?

It is a curriculum based on the idea of education students in four specific disciplines, Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics - in a interdisciplinary and applied approach. The importance of STEM education is to integrate the four subjects into a cohesive learning paradigm based on real- world applications. The USA has historically been a leader in these fields, fewer students have been focusing on these topics recently.  Only 16 percent of high school student are interested in a STEM career and have proven a proficiency in mathematics.  Nearly 28 percent of high school freshmen declare an interest in a STEM - related field, a department website says, “but 57 percent of these students will lose interest by the time they graduate from high school.” The Department of Education now offers a number of STEM- based programs, including research programs that support STEM education. The plan, the committee on STEM Education (CoSTEM), comprised of 13 agencies-including all of the mission-science agencies and the Department of Education-are facilitating a cohesive national strategy, with new and re-purposed funds, to increase the impact of federal investments in five areas: 1.) Improving STEM instruction in preschool through 12th grade; 2.) Increasing and Sustaining public and youth engagement with STEM; 3.) Improving the STEM experience for undergraduate students; 4.) Better serving groups historically underrepresented in STEM fields; and 5.) designing graduate education for tomorrow’s STEM workforce. The need for STEM, all young people should be prepared to think deeply and to think well so that they have the chance to become the innovators, educators, researchers, and leaders who can solve the most pressing challenges facing our nation and our world, both today and tomorrow. But, right now, not enough of our youth have access to quality STEM learning opportunities and too few students see these disciplines as springboards for their careers
