- No I would not choose in a area prone to flooding there is risk to land slides and is overall a unsafe region. Insurance is already expensive as it is and to have everything you ever loved washed away because you want to live near mass body of water is irrational
- They are Restoring as much prairie land (grass land) as possible. They are doing this because tall grasses and dirt can absorb the water so it would also be beneficial and fit the need of the eco. They are Restricting homes and land that are flood prone. Also they have been planning for climate change and how it will effect the weather so they can be prepared. last but not least they are doing what they can to educate the public and make them aware of these topics so in future terms every can deal with this.
