Respuesta :

When light bulb is placed at the position of D and switch B is closed

So here the circuit is closed and there will be current flow through the circuit

So here we can use ohm's law

[tex]V = iR[/tex]

here we have

V = voltage of battery

R = resistance of bulb

so we will got the current "i" in the circuit

so now we will have power across the bulb as

[tex]P = V i[/tex]

[tex]P = V(\frac{V}{R})[/tex]

[tex]P = \frac{V^2}{R}[/tex]

so bulb will glow with the power we got in above expression after connecting into the circuit
