There are several differences between job training and college or bachelor’s degrees.  

First, bachelor’s degrees length are often longer, undergraduate education programs usually take a four-year and they include general education courses as well as specific ones directly related to the specific major training.  Administrative Services Manager , Survey Researcher , and Training and Development Specialist are examples of careers which require a college degree.

In contrast, job training programs often have a shorter length since they are focused on preparing students just for a particular job. Billing Clerk  and Parts Salesperson are examples of careers which require only a training.
