Fusion, vaporization, and sublimation are endothermic processes, whereas freezing,condensation, and deposition are exothermic processes. Any phase transition in the direction gas -> liquid -> solid will give off energy.HOPE THIS HELPS
Basically anything that gives OFF heat, unlike an endothermic reaction which needs heat to be ADDED to produce a reaction.
