Respuesta :
NADH is the allosteric inhibitor of the Krebs cycle enzyme, α- ketoglutarate dehydrogenase.
What is allosteric inhibitor?
Allosteric inhibitor is a molecule that binds to the enzyme at an allosteric site and change the shape of the enzyme.
The active 3D structure of the enzyme gets change and hence it leads to inhibition of the enzyme activity.
α- ketoglutarate dehydrogenase is inhibited both by succinyl CoA and NADH which are the products of reaction catalyzed by it.
