Some people have referred to the hospitality industry as a “People” business. What is meant by this? Do you agree or disagree with this assessment? Why or why not?

I agree. In order to be an efficient host you have to like talking to people and be able to hold conversations with people. If you don’t like people this isn’t the job for you. Someone who is a “people person” can usually resolve issues quick without catching attitudes.
