DNA is the blue print of the living organisms. It stores all information of the living organisms. DNA is a double stranded structure where one strand stores information from mother and other from father,as we are diploid (2n) organisms. In this way it stores information. DNA copies itself by process of replication which is a semi conservative process. It means the new DNA strand contains an old strand and a new strand. By this process it carries some old information with some new information. Then by process of transcription it transforms information to mRNA and by translation process this mRNA with help of ribosomes form protein. Proteins are nothing but the polymer of amino acids. These amino acids contain triplet codons which transmits information from generation after generation
