In a purely hypothetical situation, three women all claim that Bill Clinton is the father of their child. Bill has blue eyes. The eye colors of the women and children are: 1) blue-eyed mother, brown-eyed child 2) brown-eyed mother, blue-eyed child 3) brown-eyed mother, brown-eyed child. Given that the allele for brown eyes is dominant to the allele for blue eyes, evaluate wether it's possible for Bill to have fathered each of these children.​

Bill could not have fathered the first child as that would mean that the woman had brown eyes, which she did not. A yes for the second, as long as the mother had a recessive blue eye gene within. A yes for the last, the mother was brown eyed and the child was brown eyed, taking the dominant allele. No for 1, yes for 2 and 3.
