I just recently took a test on this subject in English class so it is still fresh in my head. The book Walden is about A, because he wrote the book while he was living by himself out in the woods. He wrote his book about what happened to him and what he thought in the woods when he was alone.
The answer is A. Transcending the conventions of society by living in solitude.
