The Germanic Christianity in the early Middle Ages was known as Christian Paganism which refers to the official religions of Ancient Greece and Rome which originated from the Neolithic error. They believed in individual worshipping, family traditions, and regional cults. The pagan believed in many gods (polytheistic), but only one was chosen to be worshipped as the chief god and supreme godhead. Christian paganism in German referred to the indigenous religions of the Germanic people up to the Christianization period in the middle ages.
