Well, considering I don't know what the whole article is about, I'm going to take my best educated guess in hopes that it will be of use to you.
First, I can probably uliminate answer B. because stating a fact, doesn't usually mean that many disagree with him/her.
D. Is fairly similiar to the previous option, and a key to multiple choice questions, if usually taking away the ones most alike.
That leaves you with options A and C.
If it were me, I'd go with option, A.

I do not know what the article is about or anything about it. I would say A. I eliminated C because the question tells us the article is about a bird. I eliminated D because if they didn't believe David they would have the article mostly about David. Lastly, B was eliminated because again the article would be more about David than the bird.
