Answer: Photosphere
Explanation:
The Photosphere is the luminous surface that delimits the Sun as a star, besides being the coldest layer produces the light that is visible from the Earth. This surface is composed of a layer of gases that are subjected to strong pressures and its temperature is only [tex]6,000\°C[/tex] (very cold compared to the [tex]10,000\°C[/tex] of its hottest layer).
However, there is anoter layer located above the Photosphere, the chromosphere; which shines with a reddish color and consists mainly of hydrogen and helium, and some metals in neutral state.
