A common explanation is that the Civil War was fought over the moral issue of slavery. In fact, it was the economics of slavery and political control of that system that was central to the conflict.
One of the main causes of the Civil War was slavery slavery was used everyday to help win the war & go have good crops and much more to support them to be healthy. They also wanted control of the land they were fighting on. They wanted their rights and the others wanted their rights.
