my question was - ¿Cuál es la fecha del Año Nuevo?

my answer was- la fecha del año nuevo es el uno de enero de 2020.

my spanish teacher said- "The first day of the month is the only day that doesn't just use a number for the date. It actually uses the word 'first'.

How do i fix this to make it right???

The correct answer is ‘la fecha del año Nuevo es el primer de enero de 2020’

In spanish for the first day of a month, use primer to say first. For other days then use the number (example: el 2 de enero).
