The Bourbon Triumvirate refers to three elected democrats of US, from 1872 to 1890 of Georgia: Joseph Brown, John Gordon, & Alfred Colquitt. They were very influential politicians of the post-Reconstruction era, they kept seats in the US Senate and for govern. They are called Bourbon Triumvirate because some claim they show some unity of interest and purpose as political leaders, such as favoring white supremacy or the industry of railroad and coal-mining.
