What is the comparative for "malo"?

Answer: equality = tan malo como; inequality = peor que (irregular)

When writing or talking it is often useful to compare one thing to something else. This comparison generally takes one of two forms: a comparison of equality or a comparison of inequality.

To form the comparisons of equality using adjectives, adverbs or nouns,

we use the following formula:

tan + adjetivo/ adverbio/ sustantivo + como.

as +  adjective/ adverb/ noun  + como

Example for "malo":

El frío excesivo es tan malo como el calor excesivo.

Translation: Excessive cold is as bad as excessive heat.

To form the comparisons of inequality using adjectives, adverbs or nouns,

we use the following formula:

Más/ Menos + Adjetivo / Adverbio / Sustantivo + que

More/ Less + Adjective / Adverb / Noun + that

Example for "malo":

La sed es más mala que el hambre

La sed es peor que el hambre (irregular)

Translation: Thirst is worse than hunger.
