Bramante plan
Bramante did the first plan for the St. Peter’s Basilica church. He proposed that the church should be enormous and placed having the shape of a Greek cross enclosed within a square and a large dome over the center. Also, it contains small domes and half-domes protruding out.
When Bramante died, Raphael took over as chief architect and when Raphael died, Michelangelo took over.
