An author has 18 pages to send to a publisher. The author has only small envelopes and can't fit all the pages into a single envelope. It ends up taking 6 envelopes to hold all the pages. If each envelope has the same number of pages in it, how many pages are there in each envelope?

If there is 18 Pages and it can only hold 6 

18/6=3

6+6+6=18 

so only 3 envelope have to be sent with 6 pages in them 

If it take 6 envelopes then then it only took 3 pages p/envelope
