With enslaved labor increasing the crops being planted yet not taking too much in salaries, there was increased wealth in the South which led to a development of customer culture.
On another note, textiles made by Europeans from various materials such as fur, hides and cotton, allowed Native Americans to both trade with Europeans and acquire warmer clothing which change the way they lived.
