use elimination
multiply secn equation by -1
-3x-2y=-6

add to other equation
-3x-2y=-6
4x+2y=10 +
1x+0y=4

x=4
sub back to solve for y

3x+2y=6
3(4)+2y=6
12+2y=6
minus 12 both sides
2y=-6
divide 2
y=-3
