The correct answer is B. Normative
Solomon Asch was a social psychologist mainly known for his experiments related group conformity. In these experiments, Asch used perceptual tasks shown participants two cards (one with a reference line and other with three different lines) and then he asked them to point out in the second card the line that was the same as the one in the first card.
However, in this experiment, only one participant was a real participant and others were actors who gave the same wrong answer in some rounds. Asch experiment showed in around 40% of the times, the real participant changed the answer to fit those of the majority, this proved the Social Normative Influence, in which individuals conform just to fit in a group. Considering this, it can be concluded in the Asch experiment participants conformed due to Normative social influence, because they change their correct answer into a wrong one just the accepted by other participants.
