Centroid is the point which represents the mean position of all the points on the object. When we cut a plane shape from a bit of card it adjusts consummately on its centroid.
In case of triangle, the centroid is the point where all the three medians of the triangle intersects.
Thus in the Ty's model the centroid represents the center of gravity.
