The volume of a pyramid is also halved.
We can find out volume of a pyramid with formula V=[tex]\frac{1}{3} B*h[/tex]
Let´s say, that the base of the pyramid is 18[tex]m^{2}[/tex].
The equation then becomes [tex]V=\frac{1}{3} *18*h[/tex].
[tex]\frac{1}{3} *18[/tex] is 6. If the height of the pyramid is 1, the whole equation will be [tex]V=\frac{1}{3}*18*1[/tex] which is 6[tex]m^{3}[/tex].
if we halve the height, the equation is [tex]V=\frac{1}{3}*18*0.5[/tex]
That is 3[tex]m^{3}[/tex]
If the height of a pyramid halves, the volume also halves.
I hope that I have helped you.
