Battle of Saratoga:
Battle of Saratoga consisted of two battles which were fought during the September and October of 1777 and it was a crucial victory for the Americans. In this battle France extended their support and they even provided supplies which aided them to defeat Britain.
This crucial victory at the Battle of Saratoga made the French to support Americans with the military aid and this incident is considered as one of the major turning points of the American revolution.
The battle actually occurred in higher ground that too with fortifications geographically aided America to win the war.
