Some examples of non-living things include rocks, water, weather, climate, and natural events such as rockfalls or earthquakes. Living things are defined by a set of characteristics including the ability to reproduce, grow, move, breathe, adapt or respond to their environment.
The seven characteristics of life include:
1.responsiveness to the environment;
2.growth and change;
3.ability to reproduce;
4.have a metabolism and breathe;
5.maintain homeostasis;
6.being made of cells; and.
7.passing traits onto offspring.
If it is not one of these it is not a characteristic of life. Pick the one(s) not on this list.
Hope this help!
