In a response of two to three sentences, explain how these lines contribute to Beowulf's characterization as a hero.

"Beowulf spake (his burnie did glisten,
His armor seamed over by the art of the craftsman):
"Hail thou, Hrothgar! I am Higelac's kinsman
And vassal forsooth; many a wonder
I dared as a stripling."

The writer note the armor to be done by an artist/craftsman. Usually when we picture a hero we see them dressed heroically. He then proceeds to flatter himself for his achievements as a youth.
