Create a model of the atoms of a substance moving through the solid, liquid, and gas
states
Create a model of the atoms of a substance moving through the solid, liquid, and gas states. This
can be a physical model using household or crafting items or a colorful diagram, illustration, or
animation. You can be as creative as you want. Be sure to include and label the following items in
your model
the three states of matter
movement and spacing of molecules
loss or gain of kinetic energy and temperature
transfer of heat
breaking or building of intermolecular bonds
Include one paragraph (5 to 8 sentences) to explain the movement of energy during phase
transitions. View this student example using candy to help spark your own modeling ideas.

Respuesta :

Phase changes happen as the temperature changes.
All matter can move from one state to another. It may require extreme temperatures or extreme pressures, but it can be done. Sometimes a substance doesn't want to change states. You have to use all of your tricks when that happens. To create a solid, you might have to decrease the temperature by a huge amount and then add pressure. For example, oxygen (O2) will solidify at -361.8 degrees Fahrenheit (-218.8 degrees Celsius) at standard pressure. However, it will freeze at warmer temperatures when the pressure is increased.

Water is the best model that shows solid, liquid and gas.

Model of solid, liquid and gas

Sublimation is the process in which substances go through the logical progression from solid to liquid to gas when they are heated. We know that the solid state of water is ice which change into liquid state by heating at high temperature. We also change liquid water into gaseous phase by giving more heat energy.

So we can conclude that water is the best model that shows solid, liquid and gas.
