Commutative property states that no matter how the addens are placed, the result of the operation (sum) remains the same.
For example, given three numbers a, b and c, the result of [tex]a+b+c=b+c+a=a+c+b[/tex].
Then, when you are solving a sum, the order of the elements does not matter. If we want to see this numerically, with an other example: [tex]4+5=5+4=9[/tex].
