This is how you cite a website according to the MLA norm:
"Famous Events in History." The History Database, www.HistoryDataBase.net. Accessed 25 Apr. 2014. (C)
When quoting a web publication, the right order and formatting is as follows:
- Author name (if available) followed by a period
- Title of publication between quotation marks and followed by a period
- Name of website in italics and followed by a comma
- Date of publication (if available) followed by a comma
- URL followed by a period
- Date of access followed by a period.
