Luke has 1/3 of a package of a package of dried apricots. He divides the dried apricots equally into 4 small bags. Luke gives one of the bags to a friend and keeps the other three bags for himself. How did Luke keep 1/4 of the enrire package for himself.

1/3 = 4/12    4/12 divided by 4 = 1/12   1/12+1/12+1/12=3/12   3/12=1/4 of entire package/
