Answer: Paine uses language effects such as personification to show that nature has its own feelings even though it has no effect on what humans do. The language feature used is personification as nature cannot forgive. Paine had given nature human features to show that is can have an adversal affect on what you do, depending on what is done. For example, the word "she" can show that the girl would like to become more like nature as she may have been a caring person who may have been treaten wrong and as nature is said to "not forgive" the girl may just want to do the same and show that she also had a dark side.
