In the Paleolithic example (left), there images are simply painted, with a bit of color. In the Neolithic example (right), the style is abstract with sharp, clean lines and no color besides black showing. It shows humans and animals interacting together.
Cave Art refers to the expression of Paleolithic humans that are represented by paintings and drawings on the walls of caves.
The artwork of the Upper Paleolithic Period was bolder and larger while those of the Neolithic period were more detailed in that they contained more elements of the information they tried to depict.
Both types of art were done on the wall of the caves as the canvas using charcoal.
