First, you write down the problem once again on a piece of paper
Then, you see that there is an x you can cross out so you do minus xminus x so it will now be -10+4-5=6x-5
Then, you have to cross out the 5's because the 5 is on the x side and, we need the numbers to be on one side and the variables on the other side of the equal sign. The equation will look like this : -10+4=6x
Next, you do -10+4 which is -6 because it is like 10-4 but the other way around so the answer is -6 so, the equation is now -6=6x
Finally, you divide both sides by two which will be x= -1
