Answer:
The two ways of biologically testing water are biomonitoring and bioanalytics.
Explanation:
Water can be found almost everywhere in the world, internally and externally. It is a very significant element to all living things. We used it for drinking and regulating our body's condition. We also rely on it for cooking and washing the laundry. However, not all water are safe for drinking nor for organisms to live. This is the reason why biologically testing the water comes to play the part.
There are particularly two ways in order to biologically test the water.
1. Biomonitoring- This is the process of monitoring the quality of water in rivers, lakes and wetlands and how they affect the quality of life of organisms living there. This can also help determine whether there are certain chemicals or elements in the water that led to a particular disease.
2. Bioanalytics- This is concerned with analytical techniques. It studies about the quantitative measurements found in water. It focuses on macromolecules, DNA, proteins, etc. This an be used for investigations or in relation to the environment.
