I would tell the actor to draw out the timidness of the lion more. He is still courageous as he learns he truly is all along but he is still very timid. I think the lion should also be more reserved as he is not the weak willed lion, he is just easily scared. overall the lion is a character who defies the stereotypes of lions and should act that way. He should be cowardly, not unintelligent.
