Thank you guys.

Ecologists are studying a population of rabbits. The population was 312 rabbits in 2010. They predict that the population will grow by about 5% each year. If they are correct, how many rabbits could there be in that area in 2019? Round your answer to the nearest whole rabbit!
Choice....NONE

Respuesta :

Well, the algorithm is simple, for each year all you gotta take is 5% and add it to the current population, then stop at 2019, then round it to the nearest whole rabbit, I just can't get down percents yet.

327.6 in 2011

then 5% of 327.6 is 16.38 so add that on and keep going

343.98 in 2012

361.179 in 2013

379.23795 in 2014

398.1998475 in 2015

418.109839875 in 2016

439.015331869 in 2017

460.966098463 in 2018

and 484.014403386 in 2019

So your answer is 484 Rabbits ( by my work ) in 2019.

Hope this helps, if not, comment below please!!!!
