Answer:

They all have different reasons

Explanation:

The desert is a environmental danger, depending on where its at you might be looking at risks of severe dehydration from the heat, and the Sahara during winter seasons is still regularly over a 100° Fahrenheit and then during the Nights it drops dramatically sometimes below freezing presenting both environmental dangers of extreme heat and cold. The wildlife presents many dangers as well, poisonous scorpions, snakes and insects are everywhere. Many of them lethal to even a fully grown adult, another is the openness if a fire fight were to go down you'd most likely have little to no cover and mobility is limited on the sandy dunes making reinforcements and things like the Heavy Mechanized Unit (Tanks, APC's and Artillery devices) hard to deploy successfully. However the openness makes Air Support very vital and often times the one thing a solider can depend on. The Jungle presents many risks of disease and sickness from the moist and hot environment and infectious bugs that carry diseases specially the mosquito which carries a deadly disease called the Nile Virus. Large cats like the Panther also reside there, they are big enough and strong enough to maim and/or kill a person of any size and are expert hunters sneaking up on unsuspecting soldiers. It also makes it nigh impossible to deploy larger bulkier units because of all the trees, foliage and slick muddy terrain. However camouflage is an effective tactic with all the cover and brush to hide in, but your enemy will most likely be doing the same presenting the risk of ambush. Air support will not have a applicable view on the area making it hard for them to hit specific targets and avoid friendly casualties. Speaking of which that brings me to the city, a city is a public place what I mean by that is that Civilian casualties often take a heavy toll as they cannot fight back against a large militarized force. Most places are not like the US in which most residents have right to bare Arms and as such most american families posses Firearms to defend themselves in emergency situations. Everything is also close quarters, buildings disrupt viewpoints and enemies could be hiding in any one of them. Air support would generally be limited unless civilians had been evacuated because even a minor bomb dropped from a plane can level an entire building resulting in anyone inside untimely demise, enemy or not . Destroying a city through warfare also presents large scale economy losses and warfare often ruins the ground beneath it making it hard to recover after a place has been razed by warfare. Wildlife is not usually a concern in a city but of course is entirely possible as mosquito and other such creatures seem to be everywhere. So in conclusion the dangers of fighting in the Desert, Jungle and Cities range from extreme climates, Wildlife and the Geography of the area each presenting its own unique problems and benefits.
