Answer: We are changed by war in every way possible.
Explanation: My reasons for stating this are as follows. War has both its negatives and positives for both the soldiers and the families. For the soldiers it renders a certain position of respect and honor. It also gives them a huge responsibility and purpose in life. Most join the military to find their way in a lost world. Others join strictly for the monetary stability. As for the families they keep spirits held high and pray their loved ones return home.

War is a battle for peace and includes both positive and negative aspects but most if its includes the positive and negative aspects. The soldiers end up dying in the war for some ruler. The families are lost and get destroyed. Some bodies are never found etc.
Thus the answer is soldiers are given huge responsibilities.
- The solider are given respect and honor by the country and its countrymen. They are treated as martyrs. They earn the respect by porting the nations from the enemy and hence being able to defend the region and lands.
- Most of the men join the military to fight for their territory. Others join strictly for monetary stability. Thus the focus of the poem is on the what changes are made by the war.
